According to Agency report , the staff working in close proximity to Governor Koshyari have tested positive for novel coronavirus infection. After this, the governor have isolated himself following state protocols. He will go for a COVID-19 test in a few days, it said.

This also happened earlier on 11th July 2020 after at least 14 people had tested positive for COVID-19 in Raj Bhavan. According to the earlier report, results for 55 out of 100 tests had come. Of these, 14 had tested positive for COVID-19. All the 14 people were asymptomatic while most of them were stable.

According to news agency ANI earlier reported , at least 18 people had tested positive for COVID-19 at Raj Bhavan in July 2020.

The State as well as city registered a marginal rise in fresh cases of covid 19 on Sunday. Maharashtra reported 255 new cases while while Mumbai recorded 151 cases .Active cases in the state breached the 1500 Mark for the first time since March 19.

The state also reported a single death from Mumbai , taking its overall toll to 1,47,855.This was the third consecutive day of Mumbai reporting a death due to the novel Coronavirus. Prior to this ,the city has not seen any fatality for 12 days in a row. Civic officials said the deceased was a senior citizen with comorbidities. Mumbai had reported four Covid 19 deaths in all of April. In comparison there have been three deaths in the first two weeks of May.

Active cases in the state reached 1518, although state officials maintained most cases are mild and are largely being treated at home. Active cases in Mumbai have reached 885.On Sunday 5 People were hospitalised.
